Tom's Plea

Why's everyone picking on me,
in all the fan fiction I see.
Please tell me why  they get a thrill,
from setting me up for the kill.
So many seem to get their kicks,
beating me black and  blue with sticks.
Drown me in an ocean of guilt,
the first sign of trouble I wilt.
Womanizing my only skill,
my sense of decency is nil.
Some make me an arrogant ass,
a lousy drunk without any class.
Suffering angst at every turn,
when it's for Chakotay I yearn.
I don't need to be a hero,
but stop making me a zero.
I will make this one final plea,
everyone stop picking on me!
